Reports are that Dancehall artiste Wayne Marshall has scored an impressive 3 million views in 24 hours of the video for the hit single Go Hard. It is said that the video premiered on the mega website wordstarhiphop.com on Monday December 17.
The song is said to be produced by Baby G on the Ghetto Youths International label. According to reports, Go Hard features top Jamaican DJ’s such as Aidonia, Bounty Killer, Agent Sasco, I Octane, Vybz Kartel and Damian“Jr. Gong” Marley.
Local media sources have reported that the track has been doing well and has hit the number 1 spot on many dancehall charts. In an interview with sources, it is said that Marshall stated with blatant enthusiasm that he feels that the song is a big deal.
It is said that he went on to further state that the creative process behind “Go Hard” started with himself and Baby G seeking to create a “mixtape style” record around an explosive rhythm track built by in-demand studio musician Teetimus, a collaborative dancehall track with that kind of Wu-Tang feel of hip-hop energy blended with that dancehall snare.
Reports are that most of the video was shot on location in Jamaica with Ras Kassa who produced, directed and edited the production.
