Usain Bolt splits from girlfriend 2012

It appears as if a relationship involving the world’s fastest man has reached the finish line sooner than expected as he’s reportedly parted ways with his latest girlfriend.

Multiple Olympic gold medalist, Usain Bolt has ended his six month relationship with Jamaican based Slovakian fashion designer, Lubica Slovak. According to media reports, sources close to Bolt insist that this move was made so that Bolt could focus his attention towards defending his 100m and 200m titles at this year’s Olympic Games in London, England and avoid possible distractions.

Bolt and Slovak were reportedly introduced to each other by prominent Jamaican Reggae singer, Tami Chynn shortly before last Christmas.

Sparks immediately flew between the two celebrities However, the developing relationship between Bolt and Slovak triggered a racial firestorm after a picture of the duo kissing during a sponsored photo shoot emerged; causing an uproar amongst Jamaican fans, particularly female fans.

Bolt hasn’t strayed from dating fellow public figures before as he was rumored to be in relationships with former VH1 reality star, Tanisha ‘Lava’ Simpson as well as British triple-jump athlete, Rebeckah Passley, who claimed in the British tabloid, The Sun that the world record holding athlete broke her heart.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports have indicated that Bolt may be trying to reunite with his first girlfriend, Mizicann Evans, who was seen with his parents during the Jamaica National Invitation on Saturday in Kingston.

A friend of Bolt’s relayed that Evans remains a close friend of Bolt’s family and that she and the world’s fastest athlete are regularly in contact with each other.
